Honda Amaze Car Front Offset Crash Test 4 Star | Auto News Anuragie

Global Encaps has performed a front offset crash of the Honda Amaze car sold in Africa. Amaze has received a 4-star safety rating in this test at a speed of 64 km/hour. Significantly, the Amazon Sedan, sold in Africa, is exported from India.

This Amazon model tested by Global Encaps was given features such as Dual Airbags, ABS, EBD, Driver Side Seat Belt Reminder, front seat belt coming with Pretender, and Isofix Child Seat Anchor.

Apart from these safety features in Amaze, sold in India, high-speed alerts and co-passenger seatbelt reminder are also available. It is clear that the Indian version of Amaze can also get a safety rating similar to the African version when it is a crash test.

Honda Amaze Car Child Safety

This 4-star rating received by Amazon has been received for Adult Safety. According to the test report, during the crash, the amaze driver and front passenger provide good protection to the head and neck. However, the security of the chest and knee was not as high as the head and neck. It has been rated as 'sufficient'. Amazon only got a 1-star rating for child safety. During the test, the body structure of the car and the footwell area is said to be stable.

For details, after Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze is the best-selling sub-compact sedan in India. It is available in both gasoline and diesel engine options. Global Enqueap had also tested crash hatchback version of Swift, last year, in which Swift received only 2-star safety rating.
